Bow Hunter of the Year has 3 Divisions:
Men’s Division
Women’s Division
Youth Division (under 16)
Team competition for married couples with combined scoring.
Largest specimens by species using Pope & Young measurement standards.
Progressive award system from Gold Bear Pin through Master Bow Hunter designation.
Big Game: Deer, Elk, Bear, Cougar, Turkey, and 15+ other species.
Point-based system progressing to Master Small Game Hunter patch.
Small Game: Rabbit, Duck, Squirrel, Raccoon, and 25+ other species
Must be OBH member at time of harvest
Animals must be taken legally with bow and arrow
Applications due by January 15th following harvest year
Join OBH before your hunting season
Harvest game legally following all regulations
Submit application by January 15th
Attend awards banquet to receive recognition
